Hypothermia
Hypothermia occurs when your core body temperature drops below 95 degrees Fahrenheit. It can happen quickly if you are exposed to extreme cold or immersed in freezing water without proper protection and clothing. If left untreated, hypothermia can lead to death. Signs and Symptoms:
Frostbite
Frostbite is an injury that occurs as a result of exposure to extreme cold. It mainly affects the extremities (fingers, toes, ears, noses). The low temperatures causes the skin to die and can sometimes lead to amputation Signs and Symptoms:

Heat stroke
Heat stoke occurs when the body's core temperature exceeds 105 degrees Fahrenheit. Your body starts to shut down and is unable to cool itself. It is a result from a long exposure to high temperatures and usually begins with dehydration and milder forms of heat-related illnesses (like heat cramps or heat exhaustion). Signs and Symptoms:
Snow Blindness
Snow blindness, also known as photokeratitis, is a painful eye condition caused by too much exposure to UV rays. Without proper eye protection (snow goggles or sunglasses), the UV rays reflect off the snow and can damage your eyes. Signs and Symptoms:
